Owasso, OK
Position open:
Associate Pastor
Bible Church of Owasso (BCO), a thriving, suburban congregation in the Tulsa metro, is seeking a highly relational, people-oriented Associate Pastor who can serve as a strategic senior leader alongside Lead Pastor Ted Johnson. This is a key leadership role for a church in an exciting season of regrowth.
The Associate Pastor will focus on leadership development, shepherding adults, and teaching within a theologically aligned, team-driven environment. BCO is searching for someone who loves investing in emerging leaders, can strengthen adult ministries, and thrives in a highly relational, hands-on pastoral role.
Planted in 2007, Bible Church of Owasso is a healthy, historically steady congregation that recently sent out 150 members for a church plant—an act of generosity that has placed BCO into a new season of rebuilding and opportunity. The church is eager for a capable, aligned Associate Pastor who can contribute meaningfully to the next decade of ministry and beyond.
Owasso is a fast-growing suburb just north of Tulsa—an area known for affordability, strong schools, family-friendly neighborhoods, and a steady influx of young families. For pastors with families, this region offers stability, affordability, and a strong community fabric.
Today, the church averages ~400 in attendance, with demographics reflecting the surrounding community: largely young families, a growing diversity, and a mix of blue-collar and white-collar backgrounds. BCO is intentionally non-partisan politically, and committed to welcoming people from a variety of educational and family backgrounds (public, private, and homeschool represented).
