THE OPPORTUNITY
Springboro Baptist Church is a thriving church with a long legacy of gospel ministry
in Springboro, OH. The former pastor is retiring after a long and fruitful 40
years as Senior Pastor, and the church is poised to grow and innovate in this next
season. The church is excited about a fresh vision and a new direction under their
next Senior Pastor.
Springboro has been extremely stable and healthy for many years. They average
around 250-300 in Sunday morning attendance. The church is made up of mostly
families which allows them to build multi-generational ministry. The average church
member age is 42, and the median church member age is 48 which means that they
have both stability and a bright future.
The church's facilities include a 300-person auditorium, large gathering room and
breakout rooms for children, a pre-school wing, conference room, classroom space
with flexible dividers, a large youth group room, full-service kitchen, and
gymnasium. The church is debt free and is in an overall very strong financial
position.

and the population is approximately 27k. Springboro enjoys an abundance of young
families and good schools. It's a great place to raise a family and build long-lasting
relationships.
Crime in the community is very low. The predominant spiritual climate is generally
indifferent. Many people would identify as Christian, but most are not practicing
Christians in that they are not in church on Sunday mornings. There are
approximately 15 churches in Springboro in a relatively small area. The political
climate is generally conservative with a general interest in local, state, and federal

The right candidate will be someone who can patiently learn about the church and its people before making changes but has the leadership and gospel ambition to lead the church into a new and exciting future
